Take me back to this amazing California day and the warm sunshine. I took a short trip back in December to attend another incredible styled shoot put on by The Shootout Society. Tucked between Palm Springs and the Arizona border. A campfire themed styled shoot in the magical valley of Joshua Tree National Park. As the sun rose, foreboding clouds painted the sky and a soft rain fell. The isolation of the desert and the quiet of the plains set the scene for this shoot. Then, as if from a dream, the clouds broke & a stunning double rainbow arched over the desert landscape. Warm, buttery hues from the sandstone earth seemed to glow under the sun’s new light.
There, we meet the Finkle’s. Krysten looked modern and airy in the two-piece BHLDN gown and her head was adorned with a rose gold tiara. Carson stood out from the dusty facade in his crisp white shirt and khaki slacks. The Sweetheart Table was decorated in varied autumnal tones. Beiges, nudes and oranges were accented from the flora and fauna of the surroundings. Speckled place settings and candle holders gave a textured look to the table. A s’mores tea stand was the perfect addition to light the campfire that night in Joshua Tree.
The couple danced between the cacti with a gorgeous, stony background behind them. They ended the night cuddled close together in their boho tent oasis.
