Klondike Park is one of my favorite places to have engagement sessions. I love the way the light hits at the top of the cliff during sunset. It’s a bit of a hike to the top, but always worth it. I haven’t had a golden hour session in some time now, so my heart was so full when the light stuck around by the time we made it to the top. Michelle and Cameron are seriously so sweet and super laid back. Meaning, they were so kind when I asked them to hike to the top of the cliff twice. And totally understanding when I couldn’t talk much when we reached the top.
We chatted about how they met, through mutual friends in college, and their October wedding. It was a bit chilly during their engagement session; we joked about how it would hopefully be a little warmer on their wedding day. I mentioned that it was almost 90 degrees at my October wedding, so they might be in luck. Couples sessions are seriously my favorite thing ever to shoot and the golden fields at Klondike Park are always so beautiful. Match that warm light with Michelle’s gorgeous red hair and you have a match made in heaven. I can’t wait to have these two behind my camera again this fall. And I can not wait for their little one to arrive this May, Cameron and Michelle are going to be phenomenal parents.
