Bright and early Sunday morning Patrick and I hopped in our car and started the 2-hour road trip to Paris, Missouri, for one of my couples’ engagement session. We grabbed a coffee on the way there and listened to our favorite Podcast, Morbid. Around 8:30 am Patrick and I finally arrived in Paris. A small farm town, that was full of all the fall colors.
The location Rayni picked was gorgeous. The Union Covered Bridge crosses over the Elk Fork of Salt River, which is a scenic fishing stream. In 1871 the bridge was built but, due to flooding and overweight trucks, it has been restored multiple times. The final restoration of the bridge was done in 2008, however, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources is still seeking funds for further repairs.
A little after scoping out the location Zack and Rayni arrived, around 9 am. The sun was just reaching above the treetops. We crossed the bridge and grabbed a few shots with the light peaking through the trees before it went away. After that, they cuddled in close and nuzzled up to each other. Rayni and Zack were so easy-going. It was a perfect morning getting to capture these two love-birds and I can not wait for there wedding next October!
